Any Updates
Keep up to date by visiting this website - it will be constantly evolving to guide your arrival and to make your stay safe, enjoyable, and considerate to the local community and environment. This all helps in making a successful and sustainable party festival. Register your name and e-mail address to receive festival updates for this year's LodeStar and beyond.
Go to the policy pages Terms and Conditions and Privacy for my statement regarding the use of data and all legal stuff.
On-site
A map of the festival will be available free of charge from the Information Point and Camping Control. Signage will explain the layout and identify key areas. Location on the 'Google Map' page.
It's important to me that when you are here food and drink are kept to a reasonable price. LodeStar is about putting on a festival that you will enjoy in what we think is a beautiful place. The layout came naturally and you can walk in a large circle from stage to stage under the big fen sky.
Site Access and Security Access to the Festival is with a valid festival wristband which must be worn at all times. These wristbands are not transferable or for re-sale. Wristbands will be void if stretched, broken, or removed – they will not be replaced and you will be asked to leave the site. Please keep valuables with you at all times. Do not leave valuables lying around in tents in the campsite. Lodestar Festival cannot accept responsibility for any losses. The Festival benefits from 24 hour security and stewarding and the Information Point will be open 24 hours a day. Although stewards and security have a job to do in protecting the site and securing areas from unauthorised entry, they are also there to help you. Stewards will try to answer your questions and they will be in direct contact with someone who will be able to find out. Entrance to the site will be via our car park and along the pedestrian walkway. A luggage carrying service will be running from the Car Park to the campsite; there is a small charge for this service, but you will be responsible for marking and identifying your own bags at the both ends of the service. This service will be offered at the end of the festival to assist your departure. No liability is accepted by LodeStar or its staff in the use of this service. A service for disabled patrons will run from the car park to the festival site. Parking for those displaying current badges in their cars is reserved close to the hard standing in the car park – please ask a steward for directions. After booking your ticket please email us with information on assistance required.
The Festival Campsite is for TENTS only.
There are no places for caravans, motorised homes, camper vans or any other motorised sleeping accommodation. I really feel this creates a great environment for all and there is nothing like sleeping close to the stars.
Car
The best route is by public transport if possible, you don't have to think about drink driving, buses provide good access to Lode and it's a great way to start the festival as you will meet others on their journey to the festival. Car parking will cost £ here soon if booked with your ticket. Toilets will be available in the car park.
AA Signs guiding you to LodeStar Festival will be adequately displayed. This is the quickest and safest way to park and get to the festival.
There is no access into Lode or Longmeadow for Festival traffic, please remember to display the windscreen label at the front of your car, this will be sent to everyone buying parking tickets. Any cars causing an obstruction may be towed away. Please observe the speed limit at all times and be aware of pedestrians and cyclists. Drive carefully as I don't want you to miss the show! Please park as directed by the stewards, your patience is appreciated it's always good to have some music on in your car and make your journey part of the festival. I do appreciate it if you were not loud or do anything that could disturb residents doing their thing. The festival is the place to be! If you have a puncture or breakdown please contact a steward as soon as possible, do so safely and be aware of traffic movement around you. If you have any children please be aware of where they are. I have done it myself, the excitement of the festival, unloading your tent etc. all distractions! When leaving your car please make sure it is locked and please keep to the marked pedestrian route.
Check out the 'Google Map' page for further information.
Monday morning 07:30 to 09:30 are not good times to leave the site due to the ‘rush hour' please try to plan around these times, why sit in a queue when you could still be chilling.
