Summer camping weekends
these weekends are for enjoying the festival site and supporting charity

Please drive SLOW through Lode and follow the LodeStar signs,

1. Tent camping only, keep 2.5m apart small and 5m distance large tents.
There is no restriction on size of tent. No caravans or homemade structures
2. Please do not bring glass or leave any sharp items on the land.
3. Please bring all food, drink and water requirements along with camping necessities. On busy weekends there will be caterer's present. Local takeaways deliver to the site and drinking water is available in bottles with sales supporting Addenbrookes Hospital.
4. Please use the recycling bins The camping fee doesn't cover the cost of litter picking, please respect the land and don't drop litter as even the smallest item spoils its beauty and may cause harm.
5. Please use the toilets provided at all times –if not you will be asked to leave.
LodeStar is organic and natural. There are no showers.
6. Sorry but pets or other animals are not allowed. Please advise if guide dog is needed.
7. Camp fires are not allowed in the tent area or on grass, near ditches, bushes etc.
8. Do not use camping stoves inside your tent.
9. Please use the BBQ area for cooking at all times, over 18yr olds only in this area
10. Smokers please request a bucket for dog ends and place near your camp for stubbing out as they are difficult to pick up and take up to 40 years to decompose.
11. Sound Levels. No large sound systems allowed, radios are OK to use of course. The campsite has two areas -one for those who wish to have a quiet time, it is a big area but please do not disturb people late at night.
12. Behaviour any anti-social behaviour or criminal activity will not be accepted and dealt with swiftly.
13. Rabbit holes and big scary moles, please remember you are in a natural environment with the chance of injury if you don't look and consider. Ankles and rabbit holes, eyes and bush branches, deep water pits and reeds that wrap round you...please keep out no matter how inviting the thought of swimming is when hot!
14. If you are not happy with something, toilets need cleaning (they are inspected regularly) etc. please let us know, we are here to make your stay pleasant so you have a fun time!
15. Don't drink if you are driving! Your safety and that of others matters to me, please make sure you are fit to drive at the time of your departure (by Sunday at 10pm) if for any good reason you are not then speak to me. Do not risk lives!
16. When entering the site please notice the red flags these are fire points with extinguishers. Raise the alarm in the event of a fire and only attempt to extinguish if it is safe to do so. Please keep your tent 10m distance from the poles.
17. Please ask advice before pitching your tent. Fire lanes will be formed between tents to allow emergency vehicles through if the need arises.
18. White flags  are assembly points to be used if an emergency evacuation of the campsite is necessary. If an evacuation is needed a repeated horn will sound.
