Behind Team Ghost hides a ghost. Not a lonely soul with ball and chain but a star-eyed boy certainly not content with the idea of following the latest trend & determined to draw his very own musical path. Nicolas Fromageau – originally a founding member of post-french touch duo M83 along with Anthony Gonzales – co-wrote the first two albums “M83″ (2002) and “Dead Cities, Red Seas and Lost Ghosts” (2003). He decided to part ways before the third album was released. He left Antibes, M83′s hometown in the South of France, for Paris and formed Team Ghost, backed by Christophe Guérin (his sparring partner in this project) and Jean-Philippe Talaga (ex-Gooom founder, who became Team Ghost producer / manager). Nicolas and Christophe have been working on the music for a few years already. They created Kiss Me First, their own production team and have started playing live shows here and there. They don’t want to rush anything but 2010 may be their groundbreaking year. A year that starts with a couple of remixs (Yeti Lane, UNKLE…) and the release of their first E.P “You Never Did Anything Wrong to Me”, on U.K. label Sonic Cathedral on april 26th. To be continued…

Derrière Team Ghost se cache un fantôme. Pas un malheureux condamné à errer avec une chaine au pied, mais un garçon porté sur la rêverie qui, plutôt que se précipiter la tête la première, a préféré prendre le temps de se retrouver. Pendant 4 ans, Nicolas Fromageau a fait partie, aux côtés d’Anthony Gonzalez, du duo M83, une des plus belles aventures de la scène éléctronique française post french touch. Il a co-écrit et composé “M83″ (2002) et “Dead Cities, Red Seas and Lost Ghosts” (2003). C’est avant le cap du troisième album qu’il décide de prendre du recul. Il quitte Antibes, le berceau historique de M83, pour Paris et fonde Team Ghost, épaulé par Christophe Guérin (qui devient son compère au sein de ce nouveau projet) et Jean-Philippe Talaga (ex-reponsable du label Gooom Disques, qui devient en 2008 manager et producteur de ce nouvel alias). Pendant 4 ans, Nicolas et Christophe vont développer une complicité musicale sur de nouvelles bases. Ils créent Kiss Me First, leur propre structure de production, et commençent à se produire sur scène, principalement en France. Même s’ils ne veulent rien précipiter, l’année 2010 semble être celle lors de laquelle Team Ghost va sortir de l’ombre. Une année 2010 qui commencera par une série de remixes (Yeti Lane, UNKLE …) et surtout avec la sortie de leur premier e.p “You Never Did Anything Wrong to Me”, sur le label anglais Sonic Cathedral, le 26 avril.
