The Jude are a London-based rock ‘n’ roll band. Their debut release ‘Ha Ha Goodbye’ earned them great success and recognition in April, charting in iTunes at #75 and the iTunes Alternative Chart at #8. The chart positions carried radio strength with XFM playlisting; and XFM’s John Kennedy, 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and BBC Radio London’s Gary Crowley all championing the track with frequent airplay.

The band describe their sound as “vicious skiffle” – punchy, energetic music to get you dancing. The energy in the music transmits amazingly live; having played festivals such as Standon Calling, Friends of Mine, Boardmasters, and Lodestar. They have played alongside The Cribs, Black Lips, and Tinie Tempah amongst others. They also headlined the official Live Nation aftershow party for Kings of Leon last summer. Aside from their festival presence The Jude have recently headlined London venues Cargo and Queen of Hoxton – the latter resulting in a mention in The Sun’s Bizarre section. The Jude were also one of the selected artists to play Station Sessions in London, other selected acts including Guillemots, Ed Sheeran and Tom Williams & The Boat.

“Great stuff… that is what I call a debut calling card”
Gary Crowley – BBC London Radio

“An element of power pop about this band redolent of the late seventies and early eighties”
Steve Lamacq – BBC 6 Music

“Songs that catch you from the get go and keep you coming back for more. It’s ‘vicious skiffle’, it’s fresh and it’s ready to change the face of rock ‘n’ roll. 13/13”
