Miss 600

After an extraordinary seven weeks on the BBC Radio 2 playlist and four weeks on the A list with their debut single ‘Twist’ – Derby singer/songwriter duo Miss 600 follow up this amazing success with their newest single offering ‘Missing You’ also taken from the critically acclaimed album ‘Buying Time.’  Discovered playing an acoustic set at the famous Ryan’s Bar in Derby by James Morrison, the band have gone on to enjoy strong support from regional radio and the Radio 2 DJs with their debut.  ‘Twist’ is also sitting in the Top Thirty on the UK independent Singles Sales Chart.

Chris Evans said  “Brilliant single. Just brilliant. These guys are going to be huge”

Richard Madeley commented “Debut singles don’t come any better than this.  Wonderful track”

Dean Piper from the Sunday Mirror wrote “[Hannah Garner] is a true pop star in the making.”

Vocalist Hannah says “I am just overwhelmed by the reaction to our debut single.  Not bad for a girl with red hair who has been bullied all her life.  Those who made my life so miserable when I was younger and even caused me to change schools must be demented with rage at this success.”

The pair were invited on to Radio 2 for a live interview on the 3rd August with Chris Evans after which sales and hits on their You Tube video rose dramatically.  Miss 600 (Hannah Garner and David Amar) are currently undertaking European promotion for ‘Twist’ and are appearing live all over the country on their return at the end of August, and of course at LodeStar 2011.

‘Missing You’ is scheduled for release on September 19th and will be available as a download from all good internet portals including iTunes, Amazon, Play.com, HMV Digital and 7Digital.
